Sprint 6 - Client meeting summary

  • Date: March 27th, 2026

Agenda

  • Migration status post-MoSP
  • Revisit upcoming features
  • Donation/project feature details

Current status client comments

  • Migration is almost done; ran a "simulated" migration to a Yandex Cloud server while waiting for the university VMs
  • Third VM is now available; team will try to use it as a middleman between dev environment and university network
  • Anna noticed the bot was down today (Telegram mini-app didn't launch); the cause turned out to be Ahmad's Yandex balance running out, since the discount expired
  • Will be fixed once university servers are actually used; the temporary Yandex setup wasn't meant to last this long

Upcoming features to revisit

  • User profile achievements / badges (graduation year, organizer, attended-N-events)
  • Password recovery — partly done, needs to be completed
  • Follow feature (other users, locations, or "follow university" for 319-created events)
  • Different user types (graduate vs 319 staff) with corresponding notification subscriptions
  • Automatic location update (with permission)
  • Set password via Telegram for first-time logins

Donation / projects feature

  • Anna wants a "cause" entity, separate from events, that alumni can contribute money to
  • Same link-based approach (Tinkoff or similar) since no legal entity exists yet
  • Example use case: collecting for the Alumni Lounge Zone, scholarships, etc.
  • Will discuss further with the team after migration is fully done

Prioritization

  • After migration: the goal is to make the app easier and nicer to use, so users actually engage
  • Anna will send a prioritized feature list by Monday/Tuesday so the team can pick up next sprint
  • Team should also share their own UX observations as alumni / target users

Action items

  • Finish migration to university servers
  • Anna sends prioritized feature list early next week
  • Continue discussing the donation feature in parallel
